Military Workshop for Simulation and Training

Military Workshop for Simulation and Training

Recently we had the pleasure to participate in the WSTM Workshop event for Simulation and Training which took place during the month of June 2011 at the Army Headquarters in Brasilia.

During the exhibition we - A.S. Avionics Services Ltda. from São Paulo, Gehr International from Rio de Janeiro, and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH&Co KG from Munich - presented in our booth our strongest intention to provide:

''Training & Simulation made in Brazil''

This is achieved in a joint effort as an integrated and unique team, where each company brings in their own skills and expertise, such as:

  • Development of high-fidelity virtual simulators for ground based civil and military vehicles and weapon systems,
  • Aircraft avionics and development of flight simulators,
  • Marketing, and after sales service of high-technology equipment.

With the accumulated background knowledge of the companies, the team will shortly launch and distribute high-end integrated and networked virtual simulation products and solution in Brazil, locally developed and manufactured for military and civilian ground and airborne applications.

During the exhibition the delegates had the opportunity to visit our booth at the exhibition and witnessed for themselves how close we are, not only for providing Brazilian ground-combat-and-flight simulators at different levels of fidelity but to also provide networked solutions based on standard DIS/HLA protocols enabling the Brazilian Armed Forces to train joint operations in an integrated ground forces and helicopters scenario in a common Brazilian database environment suitable for all future Brazilian simulators.

During the exhibition we were honoured by the visit of the Major Chief of State for the Brazilian Army General Silva e Luna e his advisors as well as other leading authorities, chiefs specialists and members of our Armed Forces. We also received visits from leading military authorities from other South American countries as well as national and foreign industry representatives.

On display in our booth were the Leopard I tank simulators supplied to the Brazilian Army.

The event was well structured and organized, with wide range participation and of great success and benefit to the delegates and exhibitors.

Should you wish to learn more about our simulation products and activities, we request that you contacted us to arrange for the scheduling of a meeting with our representatives.
